Built 2014, a fantastic initiative by Quest Foundation, enabling disabled people to have a beach holiday, something most of us take for granted.
On a prime site in Queenscliff the house was superbly crafted by local builder David McDonald and offers full access including a lift to all levels including the roof deck.
A unique example of private philanthropy, Glen Alvey, named after the original building on the same site offers wheelchair access to the whole town of Queenscliff thanks to its superb location. With a commercial grade lift, even the roof level can be accessed offering ocean views.
There are 7 bedrooms, all with state of the art equipment providing for both residents and their carers.
The design process was complicated, not without some resident opposition but the end result, thanks to the passion of Quest Foundation employs the highest quality materials to be enjoyed for years to come.
